# Blue Oasis

> The First Floating Restaurant, Bar & Beach Club on the East Coast of Zanzibar.

Blue Oasis is a floating restaurant, bar and beach club moored off Michamvi, Zanzibar. Two decks sit under a makuti roof: a lower dining deck at the waterline and an upper lounge deck facing west for the sunset. There is no road to the venue - every guest arrives by a short boat transfer from the shore. Seafood is held live in sea cages beneath the structure and selected by the guest before it is cooked.

## Booking

- Reservations are per person, not per table, and are made for a date and a sitting. The venue does not take takeaway or delivery orders.
- The reservation fee is USD 25.00 per person, paid at the time of booking.
- Of that, USD 20.00 per person is credit to spend on food and drink at the venue, and USD 5.00 per person is retained for the reservation and the boat transfer.
- The return boat transfer is included in the fee.
- A table seats 6. Parties of 7 to 12 are seated across two tables together, booked in the same way.
- Up to 12 guests can be booked online. Larger parties and private hire are arranged directly.
- Tables can be booked up to 120 days ahead.
- Example: 6 guests pay USD 150.00 in total, of which USD 120.00 is redeemable against food and drink.
- Blue Oasis is reached by a short boat transfer from the shore at Michamvi.

- Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Sunset: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- Dinner: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
