Weather Policy

Blue Oasis floats on the Indian Ocean and is reached by boat, so sea and weather conditions decide whether we can carry guests safely.

The decision to sail is ours, and we make it the day before your reservation so you are never left guessing on the morning you travel. Safety comes before a booking, always.

If we cancel a sitting because of weather or sea conditions, you choose between a full refund, including the part of the fee that is normally non-refundable, or moving your booking to another date at no cost.

We contact you on the details you booked with as soon as that decision is made, the day before you are due to travel. Please make sure the phone number and email on your reservation are ones you will see. If conditions turn unexpectedly on the day itself we will of course call you straight away, but the ordinary decision is the day before.

Rain alone does not usually stop a sitting: the decks are covered. Wind and sea state are what most often prevent the crossing.

If you would rather not travel in poor weather even though we are sailing, the ordinary cancellation policy applies.
